Our Core Team
Roger is a celebrated public space maverick, founding the Bureau of Silly Ideas in 2002. A seasoned creator, lecturer, and leader, he influences cultural strategy and advocates for fair governance in various roles and directorships including TedX, the Fenland Cultural Strategy Steering Group and Guardians of the Arches.
Anna has a wealth of experience in event & festival production. Highlights include Grange Park & Pimlico Opera, Covent Garden Festival, Richmond Arts, The Big Picture Company, Adonais Dance Company, Early Opera Company & the Farnham Maltings. She joined BOSI in 2022 and is currently Administrative Director at Tête à Tête and on the board of the British Arts Festivals Association.
Dr. Jeroen van Dooren is an artist, writer and researcher based in London. He is an Associate Lecturer on MA Photography at London College of Communication and a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art London. Specialising in contemporary notions of subjectivity, performativity and the role of the contemporary artist.
Dr Leon Barker pursues research in robot-human interaction, machine learning, performance capture and other emerging technologies. With over a decade of extensive expertise in interaction design and creative technology development, Dr. Barker has established a track record for developing innovative and immersive mixed reality applications that cater to a wide range of domains and audiences.
Producer, performer and facilitator, Alex is a community arts practitioner specialising in care and intercultural work in the outdoor arts. His workshops and community projects have engaged thousands of participants in a multitude of ways, from building imaginariums in kindergartens to making shows in refugee camps.

Caitlin Strongarm is an artist and organiser affecting social change through projects and artworks, and empowering communities to create, collaborate and take collective action.
Caggy Kerlogue is a cultural strategist with over 15 years experience in the cultural industries. Specialising in large scale works, placemaking & communities. She has supported some of the UK’s largest cultural institutions to deliver collaborative programmes with cultural legacy. Alongside working with BOSI she is the Creative Asset & Place Manager for the Creative Estuary programme.
Nésa is a Genetics graduate that aims to combine her interest for science and love of creativity to produce interesting, interactive and accessible events. With a strong footing in the creative industry, from DJing to dance, being able to combine these skills is why she is interning at BOSI as an events coordinator.
A biology graduate focussing on sustainability and climate change and bringing experience in film and television she is our Environmental Champion making significant advances across the organisation.
Archie is a skilled builder and maker. He joined the Bureau Of Silly Ideas as a kickstarter role and has gone on to become a core member of the team. When he’s not in the workshop building things he can be found on stage in his band The New Sticky who’ve just released their first album
A specialist technician for the events industry. Asher has 15 years experience, with a focus on pyrotechnics. Asher is Managing Director of Batten Down Productions Ltd a company providing technical services and special effects for the corporate and entertainment industries. He has worked with some of the biggest musicians providing special effects on their world tours.
Our Board
Claire Deloon Baldwin is an aerialist & circus specialist. She performed across the world for 15 years and passes on the centuries old skills of trapeze performance to the next generation. In addition she’s a casting director & programme for AnyStage Productions, who work with MSC cruises.
Amerjit is an experienced community development professional with a track record of designing and delivering successful housing and regeneration schemes across London. His specialties include social policy, public administration, economic development, housing/urban regeneration, project management, and fundraising.
Barnaby Gibbons is an Actor with over 40 years experience performing across the globe. Specialising in outdoor performance and clowning.
40 years a dual qualified (NZ & UK) corporate/commercial lawyer (in the City and nationwide) undertaking multi- national multi-sector transactions and projects in English and French. Now aged 65, engaged increasingly in the not- for- profit sector.
Claire has over 20 years experience in leading and developing creative, cultural and community engagement programmes, events and one off spectacle shows. Claire currently works for Medway Council as Festival and Events Manager, with previous roles including Lambeth Council & Cancer Research UK.
