Arch 555

A big, adaptable ground-floor arch with a five-metre truss, built-in bar, and room to think big.
One of the last truly flexible making-and-performing spaces in central London, under the Brixton railway arches.
Introduction

Arch 555 is our largest space: a characterful, industrial railway arch in Brixton that can shift between rehearsal room, performance space, workshop floor, or event venue. It's one of the last truly flexible making-and-performing spaces in central London, the kind of room where you can build a set, rehearse a show, and perform it all under the same roof.

Just five minutes from Brixton station and a short hop from the West End, there's nothing else quite like it in the city. If you need a space with real texture, proper infrastructure, and room to think big, this is it.

About the space

Arch 555 sits at the heart of the Bureau's Brixton arches, a rare "dirty making and performing" environment that's practical, unfussy, and built for doing. It works brilliantly for theatre and cabaret, exhibitions, music events, construction and making, and community gatherings where you want a space with real texture rather than a blank box.

The space features a five-metre truss for rigging and lighting, a PA system, and built-in bar areas (which can be hidden if you want a cleaner look). Arch 555 is wheelchair accessible, and projector/screen access can be arranged by discussion.
