Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers

How can I support the Bureau?

There are lots of ways to support what we do — from donating or sponsoring a project, to partnering with us on events, commissions, or space hire. You can also support us simply by showing up, sharing our work, or bringing a silly idea into the world.

Where does my support go?

Support helps us make playful public work possible. It contributes to artist fees, production costs, space upkeep, and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps projects accessible, participatory, and free or low-cost for audiences. In short: it helps keep play alive in public space.

Can I hire the Bureau for a project?

Yes. We work with festivals, councils, organisations, brands, and communities on commissions, events, workshops, and bespoke projects. If you have an idea — or even a half-idea — get in touch and we’ll see what’s possible.

Do you offer space hire as well?

We do. We have two flexible spaces available to hire in our Brixton railway arches, suitable for rehearsals, workshops, performances, filming, meetings, and events. You can find full details on the Hire a Space page.

How can I work with the Bureau?

We collaborate with artists, makers, producers, and partners in lots of different ways. Opportunities vary depending on projects and capacity, so the best way to start is to get in touch and tell us a bit about yourself and what you’re interested in.
