Introduction
Over a century ago, famed inventor William Armstrong threw down the gauntlet to generations to come: to replace coal with renewable energy sources. We're throwing that same challenge to the next generation of inventors in the UK, with the best renewable energy source we know: fruit.
The Armstrong Challenge is an interactive installation workshop where participants create fruit-powered devices, including lemon-powered lightbulbs, to explore renewable energy concepts through hands-on experimentation and play.
